One of my parts trucks has an optional engine compartment light. It mounts on the firewall up high about in the centre and the hood itself comes down on the switch to shut it off. I'm just wondering how rare this option is.
you would be amazed as how few trucks came with any accessories at all! I have never even seen an original one of those on a truck,although they sell repros. Due to the utility nature of those trucks when produced,those type of accessories wouldn't even be considered to be necessary by the purchasers,since it seems that they wanted to buy something sturdy and cheap-to dispose of when they wore it out!
