I have an '84 silverado that the wipers just started not turning off. I'm not sure if it is in the turn signal control or somewhere else? Any ideas?

Maybe add a toggle switch,..i had 2 do that on my 85 Suburban Scottsdale, Wiper switch on the blinker went bad and i had no clue how to replace it so i by passed the switch and added a toggle to run my wipers,..worked fine.

Wiper Switch 73-87 a little for both styles

If you have the wiper control is on the column, the switch is in the Column, Two things you can do if your sure that it. One is get a used column or a new switch from
Classic Parts or L.M.C this is a few deferent option on the type of set up. You have to get the one that the same as the one you got. [IMG] This is pretty close to what it will look like just to give you a idea.

Now make sure you motor is grounded to the body. Here is another pic showing where to lub and the ground.
hope this help if your fix it ( some time you can clean the contact's on the switches if your good at taking thing apart putting back together.)
