I went to change the brake shoes in the front of my 1969 C10 p/u, and when I went to the auto parts store, they gave me brake shoes that were too wide and said that those were the OEM replacements. Problem is, my old ones are alot narrower and the new ones won't fit. Any ideas what is going on?

    Thanks...

Thanks for the info. Turns out it was my fault all along. The bonded shoes are 3/4 of an inch narrower than the riveted shoes! Who would have thought?
