    Well, I met with the paint guy today and we compromised. For my part I got a signed document that I should have got the first time around. For his part he got $1K instead of $2K. After my initial anger abated I went though all those nasty scenarios that included courts and lawyers and decided that I had better give a little. This won't make since unless you saw the background info under the Proper undercoating thread. Anyway, there is nothing wrong with the guy's speed or quality. Take a look:

    Hey, your truck is starting to look good! better than what looks like anyway. I havn't proceded on mine at all. But I am looking forward to it this winter in 20F degree weather:( . but it has to get done before I move down to colorado... well that is the goal anyway. I did some numbers and its going to cost me a bit just to get it going again. but that is not including the engine rebuild, paint, new wood for the flatbed. a total of about $2000 give or take. But it is a very good investment.

    Tailgater, Great to hear you worked out something with the painter. Will save a lot of headace & lost time in the end. Picture looks good can't wait to see the finished product. Steve
