New to Forum - Need Parts

Hello,
I am new to this great forum. I have been lurking around here for about a month, so I decided to register. I purchased a 65 stepside short bed C10 in September. It is a stripped down model with no radio, heater or interior rear view mirror, and only one sun visor on the drivers side. It is in original condition with an older restoration. It has a 230 with about 40,000 miles since being rebuilt, and a three on the tree. I purchased this truck to use when I do work around the house, however after reading this forum, I have found these trucks are pretty hot right now. I decided to do some work on it. I need a cancer free passenger side door and a cancer free hood. Does anyone have these parts at a good price? I am sure I will have questions down the road, as I am nothing more than a back yard mechanic and not real familiar with these trucks.

 

You can get patch pannels or whole doors from our hosts. There was a company making fiberglass hoods out there but as of yet the are no steel repros. E-Bay is a good place to check daily for used parts. Some parts go super fast; like hoods.

I have a passenger door off my 1966 chevy parts truck got surface rust not bad,inside door has a few small rust thur holes at the bottom not big can be repaired easily,Ill take $100.00 for it plus you pay shipping & handling let me know I would be glad to help you out. THANKS

 

I have a hood. Has a dent in the front, almost centered. If interested I can get you apic.

283 man - I really hate to ask, but do you have any better pictures of the bottom of the passenger side door you could email to me? I would like to get a closer look at the rusted area. Thanks.
