will a dana 60 bolt in?

    hey guys, my dad blew the rear end on my 72 2500 2wd w/ leaf springs

    ive been shopping everywhere and found an 8 lug dana 60 14 bolt full floater, will this work? will it bolt right in? what will i need to do to get my truck on the road again?

    Measure the distance between the spring pads and shock mounts on both axles, and check what size u-joints each axle has. If the pad and shock mounts are different, you can grind them off and have new ones welded on. 14BFF should have a 1350 u-joint, not sure if D60s have the same. If the one on the truck is different, there might be someone who makes a conversion u-joint (I know Neapco makes ones for 1310 to 1350 and S44 to 1350, not sure what a '72 would have).
