picking up a 9 inch rear end on thursday, got it for a hundred bucks. Cant beat that deal. I will need to narrow it so the brakes dont really matter at this point. I will replace the axles with 5 lug to match the mustang 2 front end, along with disc brakes. I love people desperate to sell things! Ill put up some pics when i get it

How wide is that 9-inch you're picking up? I didn't think you were going pro-street that's why I'm asking. I new that you wanted to have a big wheel under your truck and just didn't know if you've done the measurements to see how wide the axle needs to be to tuck a big wheel. Let us know how it works out for ya.

I think I'm gonna order my four link from air ride technologies this week so hopefully I can start on my frame work. I'm pretty excited about it, just getting the time to go home to work on it is the hard part. Once I get the four link set in then I can bring the frame down and start plumbing it for fuel and brakes and get my new disc brake rear end setup. Only time will tell.

Since your close you probably know about Moser Engineering. The last axles I had them shorten was still $85. Wouldn't use resplined axles if your ride is going to be really salty and have big tires. Moser's race axles are at least a $100 less than Strange and they have held up behind a 1500 hp blown Aries for us. They also shorten housings and redrill axles but I don't know how much since we do that for ourselves (but only for our own projects).
