Very cool indeed. Raining here today. Too bad. Crazy ex-wife kept the kids from me last weekend when it was 70 degrees and sunny. Was going to put the engine/trans in last weekend. I guess we will have to do it in the rain in the garage. Easy to do with the entire front clip off the truck. Hoist doesn't have to go up too far to clear the frame. One boy still sleeping, another is at a friends house while I make a list of small parts to pick up before we assemble the engine/trans. My "Old Navy" truck has a sheet steel floor tacked into the cab I'm guessing for display purposes. Too bad because the original floor is in excellent shape with only one very small rot hole. Oh well. Have to grind off the tack welds and remove the sheet steel floor, remove old pilot bearing (Okay Nate-using the grease method and the new bushing is already in the freezer), then we are ready to assemble and drop it in. Might actually get it sitting on the mounts in the truck today. It would be way cool to see the kids faces as they hoist the engine and set it in place. Will keep all you guys updated and post some pics after the weekend. Have some great shots of the boys in "Haz-mat" suits cleaning the grease off the front frame prior to painting. Too funny. LOL

That was a way cool video Ken. Did you so the two 60 Impala's and the 59 Impala ripping up the strip. I must say the corvette matchup was my favorite though. I'll have to forward that to my dad, He'll love it. Gone to Atlanta today for the weekend so I won't be on much until monday. I bought Tab another car for her birthday. Well we were actually looking for another one so I'm just saying its for her birthday. :D Have a good weekend guys.

    Here's a quiz for you

Does anyone know who sang the songs in the '62 vintage drag video? (Beside me?)
