    Hi

    I am about to swap a TH350 Transmision with a TH700R.
I know that i need to change the length of the driveshaft and replace the transmision mounting, set the TV cable and so.

But how do I do the swamp it self. what is the sequens to mount the Converter and the Transmision. Witch part i the best to mount first.

Can anyone make a short description.

Ps. how much oil will a TH700R contain?

    Whoah ...dude...
Sure you can tackle this ? U gotta lift or you gonna just muscle it in from your chest laying on your back like in the old days? (I'm sore thinking about that!)
In most cases I was involved in ...you prefill the converter with a quart or two and then put it on the input shaft of the tranny first.......then lift it into place.
try to rotate the converter a bit as you adjust it into position to ensure the spline engages.
Align the flywheel bolts and button it up.
    Good luck......
As for oil capacity? On that one I dunno.......5-7 litres or so total ??

    Thanks

It is just what I need.

I’ll be doing the Conversion in a garage with a lift and some Jacks, starting some time next week.

I just needed that little confirmation on how to do this.
