Hi, I just bought a 68 C20 Longhorn yesterday. Its a 3/4ton truck with 8 lug axles and 4wheel drums and I would like to upgrade to discs up front. I was wondering if I could swap out the spindles, calipers, caliper stands, rotors etc. from a five or 6 lug truck, or is there a difference in ball joints or A-arms? Or did the 71-72 C20 come with discs up front? If so will they work? If I swap to five or six lugs, did any of those trucks come with rear leaf springs? If not, what rears will work, we currently have a dana 60. Any other info is greatly appreciated.
