Hi, I have a 1969 4x4 with a 4 speed and recently blew my motor so I was planning on putting in a crate motor. The motor I was planning on putting in is the gm 350 with 330hp and 380 ft./lbs of torque. I was wondering what else I would need to upgrade to handle the extra power.Clutch, u-joints, anything else I am missing, thanks

I would start with a good clutch....put that in when you put in the motor also replace the motor mounts and tranny mounts.....other than that,....drive it!! The weakest link will always show first.....so drive it for a while and check everything. you might blow a U-joint or a diff. you won't know the weakest link (if any) till you try it out...

Thats a good choice, for a motor, I put it in my 78 Caprice. Drive it till something goes. Definatly replace motor & trans mounts and clutch. I drive hard and havent broke anything but a few tires.
