i am looking to convert the stock rear end in my 56 chevy pickup over to 5 lug. Does anyone know if they make a replacement drum the same size as the stock one but with a 5 x 4 3/4" bolt pattern?

You need new axles. Then 5 lug drums or use the disc conversion listed on this site.

If you are looking for a drum only, 51-58 passenger car drums are the same as your stock drums, except for the center hole and 5 lug bolt pattern.

If you are wanting 5 lug fronts to match your rears, a 51-54 passenger car hub and drum is a bolt-on.
