    Kyle,
I already had my check book out then I realized it was Texas instead of Tennessee. Not!
It is a well done truck though. I would really hate to have to sell something that I had obviously put a lot of time, money and personalization into like that.

    Ouch!

And the high bid was $510.00?? (or something like that) OUCH!
It's nice to know that someone else believes in advertising their favorite football team on the side of their AD. "Course if it was red whit and gold, it would hae been up around the 15,000.00 mark... And if it was the manly GMC...
    6 figures baby!:D

"T" sips do weird things when they win!

I guess when Vince Young took UT to the Rose Bowl in 2006 and they won the national championship is when this guy paid $7K for the paint job. Just a bit of overkill, if you ask me! The truck looks really good, but who wants to buy it for what he's asking, then have to have it re-painted! I showed this to one of my UT co-workers and I think he's going to put a bid in on it. '84 or 85 grad of UT. I told him to go for it! My other co-worker, who graduated from Texas A&M said that it would look a lot better painted maroon and white! Maybe they can start a bidding war!

He's got it on there again. "Buy it Now" price dropped to $14,000. Current bid is $11,011.11

I am of the belief that this truck does NOT have a 235 as advertised in it. IIRC as per the Grand Poo-Bah (Nate), 216's have the rocker cover hold down studs going through the TOP of the rocker cover and 235's have the rocker cover hold down bolts on the SIDE of the rocker cover. This truck has the hold downs through the top of the cover. Even though the STICKER says "thriftmaster 235", I believe it is a 216. Anyone help me out on this one? am I right or not?

Early 235's had studs through the top of the cover

IIRC. But I could be wrong. Did you notice the alternator vs. generator, tells me that he probably upgraded to 12 volt.

Did you notice the nice breather? (sorry, I couldn't resist:D ) BTW, how's the finger mending process coming along?

Did you also notice that the breather was as clean as the grill of that truck?
...breather ...grill Don't hate me, Ken brought it up. (again)

He lowered his "Buy it Now" price to $12,500. Somebody whacked it!
