Gas tank sending unit test

    Anybody know what the resistance range in ohms that the sending unit is for the gas tanks in these old trucks. My unit is out, just having the tank boiled out and want to test it before putting it back in.

    I know that the TF trucks use a 30 ohm full, 0 ohm empty sender. I think the ADs are the same.

    Same on the AD's.

    Make for sure that you drag the float real slow and look for any breaks in the ohm readings. You don't want it to read full and empty correctly then not read in between wrong.
