gas gauge ?

    Hi will an after market gas gauge that is 33 OMS full
    130 OHMS 1/2 full
    240 OMS empty
    work with our stock fuel senders ?
    My after market sender is lacking the fuel line that is on the original .

    yea , I found out that auto meter makes a 0-30 ohm that will work Blaa
    maybe I ll go that route .
    Unless some one elase has a tip ?

    I'm trying to figure that one out to. I have seen other posts where they have called Napa and they had some kind of in line resistor or something like that to correct our problem. Napa will be back open Monday so when I find some thing out I'll let you know. Jeremy

    You can't add ohm's to that one to make it work. Maybe you can get the 0-30 ohm sender to work by adding ohms though.

    Ok so instead of rigging some thing up I orderd an autometer gauge rated at 0-30 ohm. Thanks for the the tips Sal

    Sal, thats the info I got today, get the correct gauge or sending unit. Looks like thats what you did. I'll have to do the same!! Jeremy

    yea I toyed with the idea of modifying my old one, but with my luck I'ld blow up my truck !!
