rear spring

    I am in need of help. I was going to replace my rear springs, and ran into some troubble. I decided to put things back, but now I cant even do that.
    I have my axle on jack stands, an the trailing arms are on the ground , I cant gelt them to line up with the u bolts !!! I am at wits end and need HELP !
    How do I get the trailing arms to line up ? Thanks Sal

    If you are using the old bolts you might of bent them when you removed them. Put the tires back on the axle and remove the stands. This way you can roll the axle into position. Other than that it sould be real easy to get it back together.

    I got them in. I guess the po had installed 1 ton springs. I sawzalled tke lower bolts an installed the new springs. Thanks for the tip drabo !!

    yea, but ny rear shocks have an assist coil , so it raised it up some.
