    Setting Dwell Angle :

Remove spark plugs and dizzy cap, connect dwell meter , loosen points adjusting clamp screw , turn on ignition and crank engine , observe dwell meter and adjust points " On The Fly " to 33* dwell . stop engine , tighten clamp screw , install plugs & dizzy cap , start engine , observe dwell , it should be spot on and not vary more than 2* MAXIMUM when you rev. the engine .

Set timing at or below 500 RPM with NO vacuum signal to dizzy advance can to ball on pointer , dead nutz .(should be no vacuum signal from carby below 900 RPMS) .

If the dwell varies as you rev, the engine , the dizzy bushings are shot , time to rebuild it or find a good used one on E-pay , I bought a brandy new in the box Delco dizzy for under $50.00....

And this is why we will rub your belly as we pass your monument right outside the doors to the AD Hall of Fame! (Good luck yaknow?) Right inside the doors you'll have a shot at rubbing the forehead of Ken. (It is good karma for computer searches!)
Yes- there are MANY who contribute to this site. If I ever win the lotto, my $$$ will go towards a Hall of Fame, I swear! You guys are helping to keep these relicks from simply being squished and forgotten. Could ANYONE imagine life without the "rounded"?
