Rebuilding a '53 1/2 ton. Found a 235 engine, flywheel, and transmission. Not sure what vehicle they came out of. Not sure that the tranny and engine came out of the same vehicle. The flywheel is 11" with the 3 dowel pin set up and fits on the engine. I can not find a clutch kit to fit on the flywheel. I am going by the block number F56Z and have been to several local parts houses with no luck. The bolt pattern does not match. I am wondering if the flywheel is off something else. Someone please help or offer suggestion, I have been at this for a month now.
    Thanks in advance
    Gary

Gary, the engine itself is a '56 regular 235 according to the block #. Can you see a part # on the flywheel?

I've got a clutch for a 1/2 ton. If you can narrow it down to the size and mine is correct, you can have it for the cost of shipping. It is not new but is OK.

If Gater's offer won't help , tyo looking in the 'phone book under automotive rebuilders and find a brake reliner , carry it in to them , they'll have it on the shelf or will be able to re-face the disc and grind the clutch cover and flywheel , too .

IMPORTANT ! take the guide pins out ! the shop won't or they will loose them and then you'll be fighting another battle...

I know NAPA sells good quality new clutch kits for your truck , IIRC there's -3- different ones fitted , maybe moire if you turn out to have a 216 or 261 flywheel on there....
