Is there a good way to lower the rear of a GMC? I know it has a different susp. setup than the chevy's, but I'd love to get like 4/6 type kit so I can get the truck to sit how I want (I know I'll have to notch it too). Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!

Early Classic Enterprise sells lowering leaf springs for GMCs. Lowering blocks are also an option, but not THAT low. 2 inches max.

I just checked that kit out... says 4" drop leafs, I think that may be enough of a drop in the rear, I wonder if I'd still have to notch the frame then? It sure doesn't look like there's any more than 2-3 inches to play with there

No. You should plan on getting drop shocks for the best results. No need to relocate the shock mounts with a 4 inch rear drop either.
