Ok guys, I know that I have been wearing out the post and the pics, but man am I pumped. They took Rusty to front alignment shop yesterday so I thought I better get Rusty's running shoes on. Every now and then I catch my wife just shakng her head as I start talking about the truck..Rusty did draw a large crowd as it sat outside in the sun at the shop..Alot of local guys are getting geared up for the car and bike show.

Found out the more I worked on Rusty the younger I felt. I figure about 100 miles a year, the rubber might last awhile.

    Can't stand it!

I mean being this close to "finished", yet so far away!!! I can't wait to see it with it's rear humps and boards on! (I'm sure you can't either!)

Zig I can't either. Went and checked on it this morning. They are doing all the little stuff to get it running so I can take it to muffler job. I did hear it start before Christmas, they just had a tube stuck in a gas can at that time..THe Fenders are ready but they wanted to wait until muffler man was finished to take no chances..

What size rims and tires did you go with? Also what rear end and how wide is it? Just trying to get a visual to see how big my rims are gonna look on my truck. Looks Great. Can't wait to see the final pics.

    Kevin,
I went with 20's all around the tire size is 255's..I worried at first if these where going to clear everything, but there is alot of room. The bolt pattern for the mustang II front that I bought from CP is 5x 4 3/4..the lugs are 7/16 standard.
The rearend I got from a 88 GTA. the same bolt pattern but the lugs where metric..Luckily the guy I bought the rims from was nice to give me what I needed,

That definately answers my question. I'm going with 20X8.5 in the front and 22X10.5 in the rear. should have more than enough room to tuck these under. BTW I'm going with a more narrow rear end to tuck the 10.5 wide rims. Truck looks great.

You should have plenty. Had rear fenders and running boards put on. I did not lower the truck any except I believe the Mustanf II front end lowers it a little. Will get to drive Rusty for the first time in 4 years in the morning. It is not finished all the way but will take to truck show anyways..No tailgate yet, no interior.
