Looked through the old posts with no luck. Anyone know where to score some new/rebuilt/good used AD door hinges? A friend is looking for some. TF hinges can be rebuilt by replacing pins and bushings, but I cannot find equivalent parts for AD hinges.

Hey Bill- if I can find the friggin' address to my local bone yard, I'm sure he could come up with 2(?) or all 4(?). I think they're all the same, but just in case, what make and year?
(I'm sure GMC's were thicker, better, and uglier... but...)

    Bill,
Classic Parts sells rebuild kits for AD trucks, with an oversize pin and bushings, $2.49 apiece. I just rebuilt the hinges on my '52 doors. They also have the "hold open" springs for the upper hinges, but you have to order them seperately since they are not part of the kit.

Thanks, that is exactly what he was looking for. I'd used a similar set on my TF.
