I am missing the collar that connect the shifter to the shifter box at the firewall on my 52. Where can I find one? It does not seem to be available as replacement part.

Are you talking about the tubular collar that has a nut and bolt at both ends that connects the two shafts together by clamping down on the shafts as you tighten the bolts? If that's the part you are looking for, I have one. I converted to four speed tranny and don't need it anymore.

Yes that is the part. It connects at the floor board. I am not used to using these forums so how do we get together on this?

    Hey Mike,

Sorry, but I looked and looked and still can't find the part. I KNOW I have it, but where it is escapes me at this point. Like I said, I throw NOTHING away, but it's just misplaced right now. I suggest checking with jimbo59chevy on eBay. do a "advanced search" and look up ebay user and you will find him. He is also on the stovebolt page in parts for sale in swap meet section. He parts out lots of trucks and I betcha he will find the part for you faster than I can at this point. sorry, man. I really thought I knew where it was. It must be in a box somewhere that I cannot locate at this point. I have parts all over the place.
