These headliner threads have me confused. My 52 Chevy has one piece vinyl which extends fron the front back three quarter of the way to the rear window and it is held down with metal trim that screws in. Everyone keeps talking about these 2 piece cardboard liners with metal trim at the rear and metal trim in the center that attaches at the windlace. Could someone clarify this for me? Is there any place you can purchase the vinyl?

Classic Parts sells a plastic 1 piece headliner which comes in black, but can be painted. It sells for plenty dinero! They also sell the 2 piece original style cardboard headliner for 1/6th the cost. To my knowledge, the original headliners were all cardboard in the day.

There also looks to be styrofoam backing behind the vinyl. So are you telling me this is not original?

As far as I know, cardboard is the only thing originally used for headliners in these trucks.
