I need the round cardboard cylinders and the green caps that fit
over the ends for the stock instrument cluster blinker assy.
Anyone know if they are being reproduced and sold by someone?
Figures I go to put my instrument cluster back together and had
ones in good shape and put away for safe keeping and now do not
know were they are at (DANG little shop DEMONS took em,I know they
    DID!)
    Thanks,Allen

    Allen,

I had a similar situation with my wifes truck. Could not find re-pops anywhere.
I think you best bet is to find a really trashed truck or beat up set of gauges where you can buy just the gauges dirt cheap. Those elusive little parts are usually intact so long as the gauge set has not been dissassembled. Any 55 2nd to 59 truck should work wheather it is a 3100,3200,3400 or 3600 series.

    Good Luck searching,

    Paul

    Thanks Paul,
You know over a long period of time, I have collected about ten instrument
clusters and went threw all of them for parts and I put those cylinders
and green caps that were in good shape someplace and can't find them
anywhere!!! After waiting for about over 25 YEARS i am finally building
a 40x30 foot garage to put my trucks and model-A into and have boxes
of stuff in storage,So its going to be like Christmas when I get my shop built
and be able to go thru some my stash of things.
    Thanks,Allen
