... after the first small shower ran off most of the guys that drive sunny-weather-only cars I spied this over in the back of the lot. That's my '57 behind it in the first picture.

It has a '75 Nova 250" six with TH350 transmission. Home brew headers with two pipes going single cylinder all the way to the back and two sets of two cylinders into one pipe for a total of four pipes out the back. No mufflers. Dual 2 barrel Escort carbs. The grille shell is a sectioned '34 Dodge shell. The grille material is from a PeterBuilt.

The owner is working on a blower for this beast.

    Fun truck

Now I wish I had taken a picture of the truck that came in late for the 4th's show. I didn't, because my dad and I were on our way out, and I knew it would take at least 25 more minutes to find out what he had done to his truck. It looked cool though.
Between the two, Bill, your truck wins hands down!

I agree, I love the rat rod look. I used to think it was just some moron that didn't know how to finish their car, but really it is a lot of creativity that goes into them. That was definately a cool truck. That has to be the first rat rod I've ever seen with a pretty paint job on it. Here's a few of my favorite rat rods from the good guys show:

Kevin: I'm having a hard time qualifying that A sedan with the W engine as a Rat Rod. I'd have to make a daily driver out of that sweet beast if it were mine.

Yeah that was my favorite one too. I didn't get to talk to the guy but by looking at it, it does get driven pretty often.

    Neat !

Rat Rods are fun , coming back BIG TIME here in La-La land (home of fruits & nuts) , some of the kiddies deliberately make them dangerous tho' , kinda stupid in my view but what do I know , I just work cutting up wrecks.....

I like that old timey looking rig .
