well i bought some headers today so i started gettin rid of the smog pump.. now im just waitin on some muflers from jegs is their anything im overlooking???? does the switch from exauhst manifold to header have any tricks? thanks
One thing that most do not thing about is the power steering pump bracket. there is a few styles if you had one of the basic one that bolts to the exhaust manifold bracket you will need it and to make some kind a spacer so it will bolt up again and use one of the old bolts or get one the same to use. and use blue loctite on the bolts.
I have the 85 K10 as well. I fabbed the power steering bracket so I can use headers....easy enough....I think my real issue is going to be the passenger side around the starter area and then down in front of the transfer case..
