Should I get a new radiator for my truck. It has an inline six 216 and will the radiator keep the coolant cool enought without over heating or should I get one for a v8?

The stock radiator is plenty big enough to cool even a big block Chevy V-ate .

Take it to a reputable radiator shop where they'll unsweat the top tnak and rod it out , if you look at the top tubes you'll see the crusty stuff they'll wire brush off . have them change the filler neck
so you can add a pressure cap , not over 7 Lbs. though .

If you look in the filler neck and it looks clean , you can fill it with white vinegar and let soak to dissolve the depostis @ home..
