    hi guys

I'm sure there is an easy answer to this question but how did the guy that owns this truck (shown below) do the cab extension. I think it looks great[IMG]

    A figbar of my immigration?

Looks like he's taken a bit of the bed sides off as well. No running boards. Looks cool to me, also. It would be interesting to see how he'd address that problem, because the boards have that little skirt that blends the board into the bed. hmmmm.

but how did he manage to extend the cab and get the extra window ?

the van is the same length as a factory model so the skirts would fit i guess and the little panel could be chopped and welded ?

    coolio idea

I could be out of line or just totally crazy but if it were me I would cut the center section out of a door skin to get the body line under the window and weld in that section. The top part with the window I would either try and make my own from sheet metal, or try and split and section the rear window from another truck cab and make it straight. The window doesn't look like it is as long as what the rear is if it were straight. So my guess is cut it off right where it begins to bend and then cut the back half of it right were it straightens out, then weld them together. It would definately help alot to see the truck in person or atleast a bigger picture. But who knows I'm new to fabrication myself.
