[updated:LAST EDITED ON Mar-21-06 AT 06:42 PM (CST)]Stuff I've already done to the truck: I've removed the 2 front fenders, the grille and the hood. I've also gutted the interior (I've taken out the radio, heater, gauges, sterring wheel, seat, gas tank, etc) - Is it going to hurt anything to go ahead and take my bed apart? I want to go ahead and get all the pieces ready to put epoxy primer on them so I can bondo, prime, sand and paint all of the pieces. I don't want to do the front, then put those pieces on, then move to the back... I want to have ALL of the pieces (even the 2 doors) taken off to get it ALL prepped for paint. This won't hurt anything, right? I'm just making sure it won't hurt to go ahead and dissemble everything. I'm going to leave the engine on the frame while all of the pieces are being prepped... any suggestions?

Everything's going pretty good so far.. some of the pieces were TOUGH to get off, but I finally got them...

Well. It is nice to see someone gung ho about getting it done. I remember I was the same way. Had a blast tearing everything off. I would recommend getting a (BIG) roll of masking tape and labeling everything. I would also recommend getting a list of things to do and checking them off in order. I jumped around to much and it cost me in time and money. Best wishes on getting it done. You can check out what I did below.
