    Finally uploaded pictures of my 54 3100 that took 15 yrs to restore. Please have a look. thanks for all the great help!!! PUT-PUT

    That is BE-A-UTIFUL, put-put! Love the wide whites! (Those are radials, right?) Did you split your exhaust on that? Job well done!:cool:

    I Did It Again....

    ...Screwed up and got lost I guess .

    All I got was three pix , one of a satin finish GMC (love the graphics) , a blue 235 in a Mariner Blue truck and a pinup photo ~ where's the restored truck ? .

    Gentlemen, thanks for the compliments!! The tires are radials, got them from Coker. Debated on 15 vs 16, even painted 2 sets of wheels. Decided on the 16s and the wide white walls although best i can determine the white walls were not used on trucks in 54.
    The exhaust is split. i had 2 1/2 tires when i started. One of the engines had been rebuild and had the split exhaust, so i used that.
    thanks again for looking. Still have a few bugs to work out - like the fuel gauge. You guys helped me find all of the problems with that, now i just need to ground the instrument.
