I would like to prep (sandblast, light fill, prime) some parts for my '66. My question is will I develop rust on the parts if I stored them with just primer on them? What if I installed the parts on my daily driver for a few months before painting? Is their a "sealer" I could use. Will they need to be re stripped before painting? Thanks for your help.

Primer will not stop rust if you put it on a daily driver. Should be fine in storage.

there is a primer sealer you can get that will act as a primer and seal against rust developing. I would not suggest running the vehicle as a daily driver without paint on tho.
