Ok here is the problem. Both of the turn signals blink from the front. The rear turn signals function normally. I have checked all wireing and it is perfectly in tact. Anyone have any ideas? It only seems to be a problem with the front signals.

    thanks!

I'm thinking your turn signal switch is bad, but I would check to make sure you have good grounds on your front turn lights. chris

    re: 68 turn signals

Ok I'm in the boat with you, have cleaned and re-terminated the grounds. changed the flasher and verified the bulds are correct and visually checked the wireing. I'm not loosing any voltage like a corooded wire or bad ground.

it's got after market wheel in it. I'm considering going back with the stock wheel. Noticed yesterday that there is a slight binding in the turn signal lever, it leads me to believe that the switch may in fact be bad.. not looking forward to the change though......

    Update

Ok folks, Now I'm scratching my head. I need some help from the Stove Bolters.

I've already cleaned all the grounds, Ive checked and verified all the Bulbs. The problem still remains that both the front and blink no matter what side signal I use. I've piggybacked in a new turn signal switch and it still does the same thing. I pulled and seperated the fues box thnking that there was a bare wire in there. Nothing but a little crud. Cleaned it up and it's still doing the same thing.

Here is what I'm trying to figure out. It seems that the power comes throuh the fuse box to the turn signal switch. My question is, No matter what side signal I use the back lights work perfectly. The fronts both blink. Where is the connection between the back tail lights and the front lights. I'm missing it some where and I'm stumped. I'm getting 12 volts to all the lights and everything in the wireing seems to be in perfect order. I've considered just tapping into the rear tail light harness. But that is just to redneck even for me. I'm so frustrated I can't see straight. Nothing is making sence everything is checking out.

I'm baffeled, I'm considering taking it to a shop. Anyone got a electric shop in the Louisville Area Or At this point I will entertain any and all Ideas.

    **** THEY WORK*****

Removed the dash and headlight switch and upon reassembly it all works. Found some minor corrosion on the pis in the headlight switch. cleaned that off and back to working normally. I'll keep you all posted...

    Regards!
