305 V-6

    Can I swap a 350 for my current 305 V6 and keep the same bellhousing and flywheel, motor mount etc?

    I'm not familiar with a 305 V6. Is that one of those big GMC V6s out of the '60s?

    If so I don't have a clue. Never messed with one. There should be some GMC guys hanging around here though.

    I believe they have a different bell housing. but i'm not 100% sureas for the rest ihaven't got a clue. i would say that you can use the clutch if its good and the flywheel if its the same bolt pattern as your 350 crank. but i don't know for sure about the engine mounts.

    answer

    no ,,you half to have a the bell housen an fly wheel an starter,an motor mounts for the 350 small block,,nothing on the big block 305 V6 will work,,you also will half to change the motor mount frame stands as well,,hope this helped..

    yes its a GMC big block from the 60,s,,made from 1960 thur 1972,, 305 was the smallest one 478 was the biggest,,the 351 an the 401 V6 were used in RV,S an farm trucks,also there was 702 V12 from 1960 to 1966,which was replayed by a 637 V8 60 degree 375hp had 5.125 in. pistons in it ,,a big motor,,theres one in arkansas,,hope this helped you out..
