Would anyone have a cracked, broken, blown up 302 GMC head? I need one to cut lengthwise and crosswise to study the coolant passages. Hate to cut up a good one. I've learned more about cores and molds than I ever wanted to know and found out the ends of wires you sometimes see in the surface of a freshly surfaced head are really the ends of wires--used to hold the cores in place as the molton metal flows around them. Don't mean to insult anyone with a foundry connection but molding sand looks like DIRT, and gets you just as black.
