Readers.Got a1969 chev c10 pickup. Having problems remembering where and how various bed cross members and sills go in relation to bed wood. I numbered all the members and sills. Get them in correct order and then try to place bed wood in and it appears I need spacers to get the wood to seat in rear and front. Seems the sills and members would have to move up the thickness of the oak to let them seat correctly. Also any diagrams or tips would greatly be appreciated. I have a 67-72 factory assembly manual but it does not show too much for woodenfloors'Also how much spacing do you allow for expansioncontraction? Also do the short boards in the rear go tight to the end of the member. Thanks r-dub

    Welcome to the forum!

Mar-K Quality Parts should be able to fix you up. They are the best source for wooden beds and parts around. Here's a link to their website. www.mar-k.com Good luck and post some pictures.
