Got another one... I purchased electric door locks for the boops ride. You know, the ones with a key remote. The guys at LMC said this was the kit, would work great. Problem, there is not room for it to fit according to the chineese instructions which are only 1/2 page and so tiny that I cant even read them with a microscope. There is no room for the actuator at any angle that it will pull the locks. Any ideas? Any experiance? Trying to make the door open quick so when the Boops in a parking lot she don't have to fumble with keys, just jump in and go. Thanks, TB'sD
Strong enough I don't believe it, but LMC said it would be strong enough to lock and unlock as it is. BUT, they also said it would fit with no problem. I'm not sure if i'll even us it but I'm gonna wait until all glass and parts are in the door then see what I have as far as room. CP sells one also and even though I have run into a few problems with what LMC has told me, CP had NEVER yet led me wrong. So I wonder if CPs is the same as LMC ANyway, i'll wait till then, I'll still take any advise and suggestions given. Thanks, TB'sD
you can mount the actuators anywhere in the door normally and use long rods to connect the two ________ UPSKIRT STORE
Locks Mounted Well, I must eat my words... again... The door locks will mount in the 53 door with vent window, of course you have to be a little creative. But it works and it works very well. I only used the short rod and mounted the motor tight up under the vent window on the inside of the door. If anyone is interested i'll post some pics. TB'sD
Well sure show of your great work now. Now don't it feel good pop them locks. Q: lock popers are the light platic ones right with two remote or one.
I would be interested in some pics, i also planned on putting keyless entry in but wasnt exactly sure how to. Thanks, Austin
