I have a big dent on the back left side of my truck box, and the bumper is bent in toward the tailgate. seems I forgot to set the p-brake, and my truck rolled back into a building. Ya, real smart, I know!! Anywho, I was wondering how I might be able to best go about straightening the bumper, and how to go about pulling out the dent. The left rear corner of the box is slightly pushed forward, and I don't own any hydrualic tools or the like. Anyway, if you have some good suggestions, or you know where I might go on the internet to get some helpful hints, I sure would appreciate the info.
thanks, from sunny(and on fire) Colorado!!

Well, the primative way would be to hook a chain to the bumper in the area of the dent and the other end to something substantial like a bridge abutment or really large tree and drive away fairly fast, might take several times until the chain breaks or the bumper bends the other way, you could also use a comealong to try and pull it back into place, the dent in the bed can be drill in the center, a plate and eye bolt installed and use the same procedure. Good luck.
