Anybody here keep the original gauges after swapping in a 350/350 combo? What do I need to make it work?

RE: V-8 & original gauges Of course ~ you'll need some threaded adapters (maybe) to connect the oil pressure gauge line and hopefully , it'll spent the rest of it's life pinned on the high end... I dunno if there's a hot water port in the back of the block on a 350 , or maybe one in the left head but that's what you'll need = a threaded port to screw the temp. gauge bulb into or a bushing then the bulb . it is very simple all in all ,you'll need to find a FLAPS with a good Weatherhead cabinet ot maybe just crawl the scrapyards for a while to find the bushings you need.... -Nate
RE: V-8 & original gauges Your original guages have a low oil pressure range (for the Stovebolt 6) and an ammeter. I used United Speedometer and got modernized 12 volt original units with higher oil pressure range, voltmeter, 120 mph speedo and all the hookup hardware including wire harness and sending units. It was about $550. but worth it for a nice truck.
