Automatic choke set up & adjustment ??

    Need help on this one got a newer 4 barrel rodcester quadrajet carb carb good allmost new about 9 mounth re manafractered carb.,the guy I bought it off of had it on his newer chevy truck 75 to 77 model it was on a 305 v-8,he went to bigger motor so I got a good deal on it.Problem is on my truck what would be the easiest and best way hook up auto. choke on 66 model what wires need hooked up to it??? (Dont want to go with manual choke hook up) I do all the work myself on my 66 truck, thats the way its been and allways will be just not afraid to ask for addvise or help on stuff Im not the best at knowing things on . Thanks in addvance for help and addvise.

    Not A Manual Choke? How Are You Going To Blow Flames Out Your Exhaust Without A Manual Choke? Hehe ;) You Need A Hot Wire (when Ignition Is On) And Hook It To The Choke.

    New to fourm guys, 283 man, you need to run a power wire from the fuse box that has power when the switch is on and plug it to the positive side of the choke and you can hook the ground wire side of the choke to the carb itself.

    P.S. go to edelbrock.com and they have video clips to show exactly how to do it.
