Wheel Cylinder Clamp

    Any of you (Nate?) come up with a tool to replace the wheel cylinder clamp made to keep the wheel cylinder from expanding during brake shoe removal? Larry

    could u not use a thin wire tie? thats how my new cylinders came in the box.

    Although I have A Pair

    ..I also use # 150 rubber bands , old coat hangers , string , lamp cord , pretty much anything you have handy will do as long as it holdsthe cups from popping out of the brake cylinders .

    I made a couple out of old Oxy/Acetylene torch stikers cut the ends off and rebent them slightly. They work great and have tension due to the spring.

    they make a tool to keep them together. its called a wheel cylinder clamp
