    Those certainly were the days!

Great site! I tried to buy a black '58 Impala just like the one in the clip from a guy on eBay the last couple of days. Turns out to be a scam.....what a jerk!

    Don't feel sorry for Nate!

Feel sorry for the kids, especially the ones on this forum who did not get to experience this stuff first hand!

I feel sorry for the guys who never had an STP decal! Never had an argument over who made the best race cam, Isky or Duntov! Would you rather run Hedman or Hooker headers. Thrush sidewinders in aluminum finned design.

Hurst Competition Plus shifters, Goodyear Polyglass redline tires in 70 series! 1 HP per CI!

Life sucked about 5 minutes ago, but I'm feeling better now! Thanks for the memories!

    American Graffiti

Yes, Ken you are right...it belongs in one's collection (mine is pretty limited). Haven't seen it again for years now.

My daughter was 4 years old when SWMBO and I took her to see American Graffiti first run. At the end of the scene where Richard Dryfus ripped the rear end out of the cop car the whole audience exploded in laughter except for my Andrea, who said loud enough to be heard over the laughter "THAT'S NOT FUNNY!"

I just watched that video the other day. I'll be heading out next weekend on Rt66 for a fun run car show.
