I have a stupid question .... again. I'm woking on a '62. I am mocking up to install the heater. I bolted it on the firewall. So far so good. Now for the stupid question. Which coolant tube is which. There are 2 sizes. I assume the small one is the supply side and the large one is the return side. (Remember I got this truck as a basket case, so don't be to hard on me) Question #2. On the top of the firewall there is a plate that blocks off a passage to the windshield velance / wiper area. Was this used for A/C equipped models? I was considering a cowl induction air cleaner setup. This looked like a good place to get cool outside air. The base of the windshield is a high pressure area so there should be good flow.
on my 60 both are the same size but on all others I have messed with the large is the waterpump to core and the small is the return to intake....
