I have an a/c cab and i am not running air in this truck. How does the non- a/c heater box and blower motor mount to the firewall? Is this a simple swap or do I have to modify the cab? thanks

The holes for the heater core are in different places, and there is a large hole for the evap core that a non a/c cab will not have. You could just remove the a/c system and keep the ducting. Only reasons I can see to swap the ducting/housings is to make it a little easier to change the heater core and get rid of the box on the firewall for the evap core.

So if i use the original a/c box on the inside of my cab, what will be on the engine side of the firewall to fill the rectangular hole where the evaporator is? This sounds like a simple solution, i just want my firewall to appear clean and not have a big hole where the a/c components used to be.
