Alright my brother-in-law and I are currently restoring a chev. Some details: -rebuilt 350 engine from an old 75' Chevy blue, polished and black colors -raised 7' in back and 5' in front -2 year old white paintjob, shop that did it was horrible, so now I'm redoing a number of panels. -custom interior, black, gray and dark grey metallic with polished and chrome accents. -Chrome pushbar and frontbumper -gloss black grille -slotted taillight covers (painted to match) -wrangler tires with white powdercoated rims -pop lock doors, door panels flushed out -hood cowl -Custom under frame, interiot and behind grille blue light system So as you can see my colors are monochromatic (black, grey and white) with chevy blue. Now here is where I need your opinion. I'm an airbrush artist and I really want to do SOMETHING for the truck, but I want to keep it classy and clean looking. What would you do. I had actually thought about flames, but my bro in law isn't liking that idea. I was just going to do silver ghost flames on the white, and then perhaps a silver bowtie on eith side of the truck just behind the rear wheel wells. This is just my intial idea. What would you do?
I like your idea of ghosted flames. If your brother-in-law don't, move to Sacramento, I have a 64 panel that is a blank canvas...
Howziit SiN! if you're still looking for opinions, here's mine: pinstripe the truck... or remove all chrome trim/insignias...and AIRBRUSH their exact replacements onto the truck! Myron
