Front Clip

    Has anyone ever heard of using a monte carlo front clip on a 1955 first series 3100 truck?

    You will not save any money... The new IFS systems are so much easier to install and all the parts are sent to you new! If you count the cost of re-building a Monte front suspension and all the time involved, you will see a quality IFS is much better. I used a Martz engineering IFS as his IFS for the 55-59 does not interfere with the inner fender so they remain stock and do not have to be chopped off on the bottom and some ugly rag hung over the gap to keep your engine from getting road splash and dirt thrown on it.
