Does anyone have any experience with seat belts with a pendulum activated locking action? All the ones we have installed have had a centrifugal lock which you can test with a quick pull on the belt. I have pulled on these while braking pretty darn hard and they don't lock up. I'm tempted to drill a hole in the housing an pulling the pendulum forward and see if the belt locks. I'd hate to see the customer injured if these don't work. They are nice in some ways like being able to latch or unlatch them even while driving on a rough road, like when you need to reach the glove box.

Maybe they're swapped left for right ? .

Usually they'll lock up instabtly with even medium braking...
