I've been watching shortbed fleetside for sale for a few months and have seen quite a few with vin #'s C15. Isn't C15 the designation for longebds (127" wheelbase) and C14 the designation for shortbeds (115" wheelbase)? I spoke to one guy who was supposedly the second owner (knew the original owner very well) of a shortbed with a C15 vin # and he was very adamant that the truck/frame had never been modified. Aside from the paint, some body work, engine, and transmission he claimed the truck was all original.
