Hi! I recently bought a 1968 Chevrolet Suburban. Today i Dismounted the Mufller and decided to customize all of the exhaust parts.. i just wondered if there is some special mufflers that i have to use because it is a L6? (btw, the sound of the engine running free was enourmous) Thx for all answers! (and apologize my english, im norwegian)
Hi, The type of muffler will depend on the amount of sound you want. I personally went with stock mufflers and dual exhaust to get it as quiet as I could. I am pleased with my selection. Best of Luck, Mike
i got dual exhaust on my 61 and i got glass packs i like the sound. it is not really loud.i got a sbc in it.my grandpa has an 83 chevy truck and it has flowmasters on it.it is a big block it is louder than mine but it has a good sound to it too. cowboy
