I'm currently working on the interior of my truck and I was thinking about putting in a bench from a '02 Silveraldo. 2 questions. 1. Will this fit? and 2. Has anyone done this before... if so how did it turn out
    Thanks

I cannot speak from personal experience. I saw in a magazine where a seat swap was done on a '50, but they used an S-10 seat. I think that the cab of a '52 is too narrow to accomodate an '02 Silverado seat. If you can get your hands on bucket seats and custom build a console, you may have much better luck!

If you are wanting a bench seat for the 52 your best bet would be a seat from a Ford Ranger, S-10 or a mid 90's Dodge Dakota. Then you will have to make your own seat brackets.

The width you're looking for is +-57". Look around and you will find quite a few that will work for your application. I personally will be using a 99 Cad. Escalade 2nd row seats for mine. The seats fold down, can be heated, and adjustable and full seat belts. Cost usually run 500.00 for the Cad. seats. You can get Yukon/Suburban seats for 350/400.
