I am rebuilding a '51 1/2 ton pickup, and ordered a replacement gas tank, item #23-923. I can't see how this tank is going to fit behind the seat as it should, and the filler pipe doesn't seem to line up, either. The tank is fatter at the base than it should be, so the seat will not be able to move backward. Is there another tank size that we don't know about? Any help would be appreciated, short of a new sledgehammer to mash the tank into position! Thanks Bob
